Jody Team is the Founder and President of Team Financial Strategies (TFS) in Abilene, Texas. TFS opened in April of 2005 as a Fee-Only Investment Advisory Business. Jody created Team Financial from a desire to help clients make good financial decisions and grow with them through their financial life cycles. Jody loves the opportunity to help clients remove “financial stress” from their lives.  Jody has been building TFS to do this for over 15 years. Team Financial Strategies currently manages over $150 million with eight employees including 4 CFP® professionals and a CPA on staff. 
  
Jody Team is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of NAPFA and FPA. He has served in the financial planning and investment management industry since 2001. Jody, being an entrepreneur, also started an open-end mutual fund called The Texas Fund (BIGTX) in 2013 as the investment team at TFS saw the opportunity to offer an investment in the growth of the Texas economy. Jody manages this fund as well as other proprietary investment strategies at Team Financial Strategies.
 
Faith and family drive Jody outside of his work. He is married to Dr. Rachel Team who is a professor at Abilene Christian University. They have 3 daughters, Emma, Audrey, and Cora. The family all attend Highland Church of Christ in Abilene, TX. If Jody is not at the office or at a church event, you will find him next to the soccer field cheering on his 3 daughters.

Mac graduated from ACU in 2006 with a business degree.  He spent 10 years teaching secondary math and coaching.  He found himself consistently discussing financial literacy with his students and decided to pursue a career in finance.  After interviewing he was offered a position at Team Financial Strategies (TFS) and gladly accepted.  Mac joined TFS in July of 2019.
   
Mac completed his financial planning coursework through Texas A&M and passed the CFP ® exam in March 2021.  Mac completed the experience requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in June 2021.  He serves clients in many different areas from financial plan analysis to technology help to document delivery.  He enjoys discussing options with clients and creating a plan that helps them reach their goals.   

Mac is married to Kasey Leavell and has two young boys, Witten and Grady.  They attend and are active at their church, The Well Abilene.  Mac is excited to start coaching his boys in their various sports as they grow.  He enjoys various sports and relaxing with friends and family.

Deeann Jarvis has been with Team Financial Strategies (TFS) since October of 2007. She holds the FPQP (Financial Paraplanner Qualified Planner) designation. Deeann enjoys serving TFS in various roles including assistant to the planners and other administrative duties.

Deeann has been married to her husband, Scott for over 35 years. She and her husband are actively involved at Garden Ridge Church of Christ in Lewisville, TX where her husband has served as preaching minister since 2007. Scott and Deeann have 6 kids including twin sons and their wives and a daughter and her husband. They also have 4 grandchildren.

Her favorite pastime is playing with her grandchildren, spending time with family and friends, and serving in her church and community.

Chad joined Team Financial Strategies in January 2023 as the Chief Investment Officer.  He brings over 20 years of investment experience that involves managing assets for various clientele, including insurance companies, trusts, corporations, mutual funds, individuals, pensions, 401-k, and foundations. Chad works diligently to structure the best possible portfolio for each client based on their unique needs.  He is passionate about helping people and finding financial freedom and success for each client.

Chad is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute.  Chad is also a Chartered Portfolio Manager® which is a certification of the Global Academy of Finance and Management. He also obtained a BBA in Finance from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas and an MBA from Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas.

In addition to work, Chad is dedicated to his family and involved in the Abilene community, placing high value on his faith and church.  He has been married to Keri Hoes since 2001, who is an incredible wife and homemaker for their two sons: JD and Kade.  Chad enjoys activities with his family, volunteering at his church, playing golf, and being outside.
